Chicago White Sox One Of The Oldest Teams

The Chicago White Sox are a baseball team located in Chicago, Illinois. They were constituted in the year1901. The White Sox are one of the two teams which are based in Chicago. During the last two decades, they won the world series in 1906 and 1917. The Chicago White Sox won the world series in 2005 when they played in Houston Astros and beat them in four games. The Chicago White Sox are commonly referred to as “The South Siders”.

Over the past few years the White Sox have had a change in uniform. They were the first team in major sports to put the names of their players on the back of their jersey. In 1912, the White Sox had one of the most famous logos in baseball. The logo was a large “S” in Roman style font, with a small “O” in the top loop of the “S” and a small “X” in the bottom loop of the “S”. The White Sox logo in 1949 was the word “SOX” in an Old English font.

The initial team colors for the Chicago White Sox in 1964 was black, which later was changed to navy blue. The away uniform worn by the Chicago White Sox went from gray to pale blue. The colors of the uniform changed once again in 1976 to red and black.

Along with these major color changes to the uniform of the Chicago White Sox another change was made to the way in which the “SOX” logo was written. The new kit has a more modern looking “SOX” which is accompanied by the word Chicago that goes across the top. The Chicago White Sox were known to wear shorts for a temporary period of time after which they switched back to wearing trousers.

The team was taken over by new owners in the year 1981. The new owners of the Chicago White Sox; Eddie Einhorn and Jerry Reinsfdorf were known to announce a contest in which it allowed its fans to design the uniform for the team.

The new design that was revealed after this competition saw the Sox word in the center of the jersey. The word was found in the middle of a large blue stripe that had a slight trimming of red. This design was later again changed to the more up to date uniform that has the words “White Sox” across the front of the jersey in basic plain font.

Seeing as there have been a large number of uniform designs for the Chicago White Sox, many fans are known to have their personal favorites. As a result, there has been a high demand of being able to purchase all kit designs. All of the previous Chicago White Sox kits can be purchased directly from their official website. What's the diff. between a blue and white and a gray and white cat?

Can someone please explain to me the difference bewteen a gray and white and blue and white cat/kitten?? Are they the same or different? If they're different can u post some pictures of blue and white and gray and white cats/kittens? But that's ok if u can't find any pics.

There is no difference. Gray is technically blue in most animals including cats. So your grey and white cat is actually a blue and white cat. It's similar to people who refer to cats as being brown when actaully they're chocolate or when they refer to the cat being purple when it's lilac.
