Photography Lighting Kit Help?
I'm thinking about getting a lighting kit, and i've done my research and have narrowed it down to two.
KT750U 750-Watt Thrifty Photoflood Kit
KT800 3-Light 1250-Watt Thrifty Photoflood Kit
There both made by Smith Victor, does the difference in watt make any difference?
For photographers out there, which one would you buy?
i started out with a couple of hot lights with barn doors and reflector sheets (poster board in different colors or greys) if you have ever been near a movie shoot you have probably seen the huge white reflectors they use for lighting. i started out doing table top shots with an old twin lens mamiya. it was fun and paid well.
strobes are great but you don't have the creative control of hot lights and reflectors.
believe it or not you can use black sheets as reflectors.
you can start with one key light and fill with reflectors. less heat and fewer blown fuses.more funner...
