Life is not perfect and sometimes when something is working very well, you will always get those who would do anything to profit from it. This unfortunately is what has happened to Hoodia. After proving that it is a very effective appetite suppressant, there is now a deluge of fake products that you can fall for. What can you do to find out if have bought fake hoodia?
Most people always look at the product label in order to find out the ingredients of a product. One of the things you should look for in a certified pure hoodia product is that it is made from Hoodia Gordonii. Fake products will normally just say hoodia and this could be from one of the over 20 species of hoodia.
The Hoodia Gordonii plant that is has appetite suppressant abilities is only found in the Kalahari Desert. In fact very few farmers have been able to replicate its growth in the Kalahari Desert. If you have a hoodia manufacturer who claims that his hoodia is from other areas, it is probably fake and you should avoid it completely.
You get what you pay for and if you are looking for a cheap diet supplement, then hoodia is not it. Real hoodia is difficult to source and thus it is rather expensive compared to other diet supplements. This is one time when it is better to pay more for the real product.
When a company is not willing to back up its product with a guarantee, you should be wary. For extra comfort, it should also have a certificate from an independent lab to prove authenticity. It is also a good idea to find out if the manufacturer pays loyalties to the San tribe of the Kalahari to harvest the hoodia.
Many people have been led astray by uncertified hoodia companies. In fact it has been found that even some very famous brands do not even have trace hoodia though they market themselves as hoodia products. You should be very careful who you buy hoodia from.

my dog's tips of the both ears have these black peeled skins stuck to the tips. Any ideas why? can it be ear mites? i searched and nothing says ear mites causes that situation. there are treatments i've seen online about earmites, but what should i do to treat the tips other than taking him to the vet?
