Desires Of Legalization Go Up In Fire As Proposition 19 Breaks Down
Did Prop 19 pass, or did it fail? It didn't pass. Prop 19, or Proposition 19 of CA, didn't end up passing. The defeat was not too close, as 54 voted in opposition to and 46 for. The majority of CA districts voted it down. It was a noble effort though. CA would have legalized marijuana had it passed.
Proposition 19 hit a brick wall
Standards tend to be set in California for the whole country. This is why Proposition 19 had been so carefully watched. Legalizing weed had been the purpose of Prop 19. It ended up not passing though. The only area that passed the measure was San Francisco, and it barely mustered sufficient votes to pass there. San Franciscans approved the measure, according to the Los Angeles Times, 51 percent to 49 percent in exit polls. It can be a while before California releases the final results of the election. Nevertheless, Cable News Network accounts that Proposition 19 was likely defeated with a 54 to 46 percent vote.
Youthful voters for measure
Those younger than 29, were the ones who did vote for Prop 19. This is what the exit polls show. Voters aged 18 to 24 were the strongest supporters, with 64 percent for and 36 percent against. There was less interest in voters ages 25 to 29. 52 per-cent wanted it to pass when 48 percent were against it. Over 67 percent of those older than 65, were against the proposition. Republicans were also strongly opposed, with more than 70 percent of California Republicans voting against the measure. The independents voted 54 percent for and 46 in opposition to when democrats were 45 percent against and 55 percent for. 31 percent of those with less than a high school degree wanted it to pass when 61 percent were against it.
Ending it's necessary
California presently has probably the most permissive weed laws nationally, and it is a haven for medical weed users. The campaign to pass Prop 19 got a last minute donation from billionaire George Soros, however it wasn't enough. 2012 will be when Californians can finally have the possibility to possibly change the law again.

When you think about it, they're being recorded and it's going to be sold or produced or something else. When you compare the audience to the people on set, there's not much a difference.
