Ideas For Decorating A Bedroom Loft
Depending on the location of the loft space in your home, you may want to use it as an extra bedroom. While some lofts are much too open to the main part of the house for them to realistically be used as a bedroom, others offer just enough privacy to make them an excellent choice for a bedroom space.
Window Coverings
Many lofts make excellent use of large picture windows to add grandeur to the space, and while the views may be gorgeous, turning this space into a comfortable bedroom can be challenging. One of the easiest and best solutions for a grand loft window is simply to add blinds. They are the perfect solution because they can be adjusted any way that you choose. During the day, you can open them completely and enjoy the view. During the evening you can close them for complete privacy, and in the early morning you can use them to block out the sunlight so that you can sleep past sunrise in your loft space.
Privacy Issues
Privacy is always a top concern when a loft is used as a bedroom. While some loft spaces are naturally more private than other, you can always create private pockets of space in your loft bedroom by creating cozy nooks within the space. By arranging furniture to create privacy barriers or using room dividers that are translucent you can create an interesting space that is also very private. If you have a very large space, you can add a sliding screen in the space to let the occupant choose the level of privacy that they wish to have at any given time. A couch, bookshelves, or even plants can be put into use in smaller spaces to provide privacy.
Furnishings
When choosing furniture for the loft space, think about the functionality of the space as well. If you want to have a living area and a sleeping area, then you can divide the sleeping portion with translucent room dividers or bookshelves. You can also simply arrange your furniture in related groupings to visually imply the different functions within the space. By setting up a bed with two bedside tables and reading lamps with perhaps a bench or trunk at the end of the bed, you have created a bedroom without walls. Depending on the shape of your loft space your may be able to include a headboard on your bed, or you may skip your headboard and simply hang a copper wall sculptures or a group of contemporary metal art in its place. You have the freedom to be as ingenious as you wish to with the space - there actually are no regulations that you must follow.
Mixing Colors
When it comes to selecting your color scheme, look for neutral colors for your background, especially if you can see the loft from other areas of your home. The color scheme that you choose should meld well with the rest of your home and look good when the loft is seen from different vantage points inside the home. Adding a burst of color with bedding or artisan metal wall art can bring life to the space while still permitting it blend with the rest of the home.
Cool edit pro background noise.?
I am not a pro at using cool edit pro but I'm making a video and using cool edit pro to edit my audio, only because there is background noise. When i talk or just record anything it sounds like there's traffic in the background but there's not lol I think it might just be the mic in the video camera plus i am recording in a room but is there a way to get rid of it using cool edit pro?
Cool Edit Pro was purchased by Adobe some years ago. They market the product as "Adobe Audition" They have added many enhancements, but the general feel of things is still fairly consistent. Adobe Audition tutorials may be easier to find and I suspect the process would be rather similar.
